We added a member and used a password: q1w2&@#
When we login using that account, it goes back to members login page without any error message.
I tried different password combinations. They work for most combinations except if i include the 3 characters: &@#
Please explain why these 3 characters used together causes a login error
Is this for when you have the auto login after registration feature enabled?
I tested a normal login by creating a user with the password “q1w2&@#” and the loging via the login widget works fine.
We have a member that requested the password something<3
However, when we attempt to reset the account to this password, it doesn’t work. But there is no error message when resetting the password to this – it seems to go through fine, but then doesn’t actually work at login. Is the < character not allowed in passwords?
Thank you
We have made a couple of tweaks around the password changing functionality which should help. I have sent you an update via email. Please try it and let me know how it goes after that.
Great, thank you – we had some trouble updating to the newest version, but now we’ve got it and the password issue is fixed. Thank you!
