Tagged: password tag
Hi there,
I’m manually trying to send a user I’ve personally registered. So when I go their record, I click the box to send them and email. All the fields, {first_name}, {user_name}, {last_name} all work. The {password} field draws a blank.
When I typed in the password again and hit send, the password sends. Is this the normal functioning of this plugin? Or am I missing something?
The reason it’s odd, is that the “email” option doesn’t show up on the user page unless I’ve already created them. Only when I edit the record, does the email field become available. So I find it odd that I’d have to type the password in both times in order for it to show up in the email the system sends.
Thank you.
Go to the email settings menu of the membership plugin. Then check the following option and save it:
Send Email to Member When Added via Admin Dashboard
That way, when you are adding users manually via the admin side, it will automatically send an email to the user.
