In testing the system before going live the password reset modal window works fine. I’m able to enter an email address and receive a positive response that an email with new password has been sent out. But I receive no email.
I’ve whitelisted the sender address and checked spam filters, etc. I’ve tried different emails. I’ve double-checked settings in the plugin Dashboard. I still can’t get it to send out an email.
If anyone else has experienced this issue I’d really appreciate words of wisdom.
Thanks!

January 21, 2011 at 11:14 am #28219spiritualsubliminalsMemberHi there,
Same problem.
I have only had eMember up and running for two weeks but when I first installed it the password recovery function worked fine (probably as recently 4 or 5 days ago). Now I get a “javascript void (0)” error and nothing happens when you click the link (both in widget on home page and on log-in page).
Other emails seem to get sent.
I am hosted with BlueHost, using flexibility2 theme.
No tweaks or theme mods; I have also tested it with the basic wordpress theme but no different.
I also re-uploaded what seemed like 2 different password-related php files from my original eMember download (ememeber_password_sender_box.php and rand_pass.php) but again no change.
I have also tested it with Firefox, Safari and IE8 on two different computers (Mac and PC) but same result.
My website is: http://www.spiritualsubliminals.com
Ideas?

Thanks for your advice.
The offending plug-in was: Flowplayer for WordPress
Now works perfectly.
Excellent!!!!!

Thanks!!
