Hello,
My customers have informed me that when they try to reset their password, they’re only being send the username – not a new password or link to reset a password. Is there a setting I missed somewhere to make this work? Thanks for your help!

Then check the email body and make sure you have the
{password}
tag in there.August 2, 2016 at 1:53 pm #57071vinnyvrjMemberThe plugin generated 182 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.
Above is the first error message I have received from the install of wp member plugin. After i moved to the next function it went away it did this on two sites. All other functions seem to work well except the one function is the forgot password? link dose not do anything at all. When i hover over the link i get a message in the bottom left hand corner of my page it says javascript:void(0); if this worked i would say all is well can anyone help me with this one please.
Kind Regards Richard Juliano

The password reset link is not sending the correct email out … it brings up a box which reuquests your email address and then it sends the following email …

If you did not change your password, please contact the Site Administrator at

This email has been sent to #######################

This is missing out the actual step to reset the password completely and the email looks nothing like the one in the e-member > settings > password reset.
I have no idea where this is coming from. Can you assist please.
March 15, 2018 at 5:52 am #57075adminKeymasterThat email is not coming from emember. I think its coming from WordPress (for the WP user) or another plugin you have. Have you already done the following test to determine which plugin it maybe coming from?
Also, please enable the debug logging option in emember so we can see if our plugin is executing the password reset email sending code.
