Hi – I need to have the shopping cart pass the item_name parameter along to pay pal. Is there an easy way to do this? I need to be able to specify the item_name for each separate item and have it passed to paypal when the purchase goes through.
This is so it can integrate with a third parties pay pal download system.
Thanks in advance for your help
Matt
The item_name is the product name. When you checkout, that’s how eStore submits the product name to PayPal. So whatever you put in the “Product Name” field will get submitted to PayPal via the “item_name” variable.
Great – I suspected ( or hoped ) that was the case.
Thanks for your help.
