    Hello,

I have a problem with partial protection. I used this shortcode:

    [emember_protected scope=not_logged_in_users_only]

    content for public

    [/emember_protected]

and the rest is for membership member.

I have protect the content. It works. But when I put that shortcode, the rest of the content is not protected anymore.

This is sample of the content: [http://in.digitalmommie.com/mengenal-blogger-template-designer/]

The video should be protected, but it’s not.

I have scan & read the possible solutions, still don’t get the answer. Need assistance. Thank you

    I’m using WP 3.5.1

    WP eMembers v8.5.2

    WP eStore v 6.9.6.8

For the content you wish to protect from non members you will need to use one of the other section protection shortcodes to wrap around it.

See this page for the selection of shortcodes you can use:

    http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/how-to-protect-a-section-of-a-post-or-page-88

Here is an example of how you can structure your post/page:

    [emember_protected scope=not_logged_in_users_only]
    Content for public
    [/emember_protected]

    [emember_protected for=1-3-5]
    Your membership content goes here
    [/emember_protected]

yes sir I have tried to do that before. The problem is, I will have many membership level in the future (and many videos to protect). It will be no flexibel if I have to edit many posts everytime I add new membership level.

Is there any other way to do that?

Hi, When protecting content you always need to tell the plugin which content should be protected for which membership level otherwise the plugin won’t know which level should get access to it.

Please read this documentation which explains what a membership level is:

    http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/how-to-add-a-membership-level-in-wp-emember-13

There is no way to protect content without specifying who can and cannot view it.
