Page not found when checkout link clicked for both paypal and authorize.net

Hi there,

Problem: Whenever you go to checkout get a page not found. Everything had been working fine I know as of November 17 when last order came through, so not sure what the problem is.

WordPress Version: 3.4.2

e-Store Version: v6.9.6.1

I did just do the e-store update in case that was the reason, but still not working.

Also tried turning off all plugins — no change.

Okay — found the problem. We recently had Sucuri secure our site and it added a htaccess file to the content folder of wordpress area that said:

<Files *.php>

deny from all

</Files>

As soon as I removed that then things are working okay now. Ugh!

Any thoughts as to how I can circumvent that for just the estore files? I hate to turn it off completely for the rest of the folder.

It is “okay” to delete that particular rule; unless you can justify why that rule is there to begin with.
