Packaged physical product with variations

HI! I have physical products in 3 categories. I offer a combo product deal that allows the buyer to choose 1 item from each category at a special price.

I know I can create a Variation for each category and manually enter in the options. It would be much better though if I could enter the product category and it display all the products from that category in the Variation dropdown.

Is this possible? Sorry if I missed it elsewhere, I have searched the forums but haven’t found anything. Thank you

What appears in the variation dropdown menu must be manually entered in the product variation fields. Furthermore, you are only permitted to specify up to 3 physical variations and/or one digital variation.
