As a test I completed a subscription purchase on my site using paypal and received a receipt from paypal, but there is no order logged into eStore, and there is no order notification email sent to store admin of any order processed, yet payment was collected.
I was properly sent to the ‘success’ page on my site after completing the order.
I ran this test myself after a customer told me he placed an order last night, yet I didn’t see the order anywhere.
I took screen shots all along the way to capture what was happening.
I have a customer waiting on this issue so he can place an order…please advise!!
In addition to this CRITICAL issue, there are some other not so critical issues:
-when cart is empty body of cart page is blank after page header (no ‘your cart is empty’ stuff there), even though I have this code on the page
Code:‘[wp_eStore_cart_when_not_empty]’-clicking on submit order goes to paypal even when not ticking ‘agree to terms’ checkbox
-I show several fake customers registered in eStore with emails like “../../../../../../../../../../boot.ini.htm” or “–“.

All you gotta do is run a test transaction with debug option enabled. This post will explain what to do:

November 11, 2010 at 6:10 pm #26383milehighMemberOk, I’ve read through that article and several more tied to it and tried a few things…no luck.
Debug is On. Log files permissions are 777 yet still empty after hitting paypal.php
I turned ‘Auto-return’ and ‘Payment Data Transfer’ off in paypal, although I guess I will need them back on once I start selling digital downloads, right?
IPN notifications are failing…’status = retrying’, ‘HTTP response code 403’.
What next to do? Customer is waiting to place an order and this is not working.
November 11, 2010 at 11:23 pm #26384milehighMemberDiscovered it was the BadBehavior plugin blocking IPN. I added Paypal IPN IP address to BadBehavior whitelist and now IPN is working.
After completing some testing it is working now.
