Order Management does not show newest orders at top

I use the Order Management addon to check the new orders coming in and it does not automatically show the newest orders by ID. Every time I have to click on ID to sort, then click again to sort with newest orders at the top. This seems like a bug to me.

Maybe it is sorting by date and the I notice that the dates are NOT based on the time zone we have set in WordPress because I have seen orders whose date is the next day (in the future relative to our time zone).

For example, I just looked at the Orders Management area, and at the top of the list is ID 100, just below that is ID 102.

Quick questions:

Are you receiving seller emails, as expected?

Are you using any page caching plugins?

Are there any other circumstances in which the time/date is off from your time zone?

We are getting seller emails as expected.

W3 Total Cache is installed but has been deactivated this entire time and has never cached these orders.

I have not noticed the time/date being off anywhere else.

This is happening in the Order Management area for both Orders Table and Archived Orders, and I just noticed that it also happens in the Manage Customers area when I search for a specific product, the order does not come out in numeric order. Although when I click Manage Customers and see the full list it is in correct numeric order.
