Will wordpress e-member work with optimizepress? Optimizepress works with Wishlist Member, DAP, and S2. I feel like it should, but wondering if there was any familiarity with integrating with optimizepress. Thanks!
October 21, 2011 at 6:16 am #37774adminKeymasterI don’t know of any reason why it shouldn’t work.
January 6, 2012 at 1:30 am #37775drsteveMemberI would like to use the optimize press option of a delayed call to action button and it asks for the web url of the call to action button.
I tried copying and pasting the paypal url that came up after hitting the button produced by the wpestore “buy now” shortcode I always use, but although when I ran my test, it did send me links to register for my wishlist site, the aweber confirmation link did not appear and when I tried to click the button again on a separate test….it told me that I had “timed out of paypal”.
So what is the actual url that the short code represents so I can attach it to the optimizepress button to make sure I get full integration
Make sense? Thanks.
Steve
January 6, 2012 at 5:28 am #37776adminKeymasterButtons are different than links. When you use a shortcode it creates a button (you can’t just use the URL from the button). WP eStore has an option where you can add an item to the cart or make a one time purchase (using buy now option) via a URL/link. You can try using that option for what you are trying to do. Check the extra eStore shortcode plugin to find out how to use a link to order an item configured in eStore:

January 20, 2012 at 10:31 pm #37777dtheusMemberHi. I’m trying to do the same thing with Optimize Press. I can’t find a “eStore shortcode plugin” in WordPress and the link to the page you sent just has shortcode info. Did Dr. Steve have any luck? If so, how? Any other work arounds? This should be easy…..
January 20, 2012 at 10:38 pm #37778dtheusMemberHa! Ok, this is kinda funky…. I found a workaround to use on the pages using the WP_estore customer code and putting the optimize press graphic url in it. kinda backwards but it works
[wp_eStore_buy_now_custom_button id=1
button=http://mysiteinfo.com/orange_getinstantaccess.png]
BUT, for the opt-in code that Optimize Press uses automatically, I think having a link would still be optimal. Any help on the original question is welcome.
AH – found it! (not obvious)
once you’ve installed the extended shortcodes plugin this is the html code.
