My default landing page is a page where people will put their email for a 3 part video series. At the end of the videos, they will receive by email a link to other page on my web-site that has the button for them to buy. How can I know for sure the page with the buttons will track where the sale came from?
Once your affiliates send visitors the opt-in page, they will get the credit for the sale even if the buy now button is on a different page on this site.
You can do the following test to confirm:
1) Go to the opt-in form page using a test affiliate ID.
2) Then go to the landing page where you have the buy now button and purchase the item.
3) You will see that the commission for the sales is given to the affiliate ID used in step 1.
