Offering individual discount coupons with a expiry date

Hi, I wonder if it is possible to offer coupons with individual expiry dates. I would like to add, in the automized emails from Mailchimp, that if they sign up to a paid membership within 5 days, they’d get 30% off. But that means that I have to have a setting in e-store that allows that flexibility. Is there?

It is possible to offer individual coupon with an expiry date but it won’t work if you need to send it via mailchimp (because you have compose the email beforehand).

It is a common practice to send a coupon that is just 30% off without any expiry. You will find that it is okay to say that there is an expiry but it doesn’t matter if it doesn’t actually expire. When someone use that coupon, you get the sale regardless so it is good for you anyway.
