Notification of pending members in dashboard

Hi, Is it possible to have some kind of notification in the dashboard that shows the number of PENDING members?

something simular as the red dot with the number of updates, or a panel in dashboard ->home.

i’m running a membership site where new members are being moderated after registration.

although the moderator gets a copy of the email that is being send to the newly registered member. it will be convenient to moderators be aware there are some pending members to take action for..

If you go to the “Members” menu, it has a little tab called “pending”. It will also have a number in there (which tells you how many registrations are pending). If you go to that tab, you can see all the users are in a pending state.
