I have a few problems right now, but first I will say that I have the latest plugin and version of WP installed. I will also say that my problem is dealing with
Here is a page you can find my free optin form…

1. I have the buyer email body set to….
Dear {first_name} {last_name}
Thank you for your purchase!
{product_details}
Your serial code for your software should be emailed to you within the next 15 minutes. Please be on the look out for this email, and remember to check your spam folder in case your email provider has placed the email there.

Thanks
but instead the email that is sent looks like this….
Dear josh
Below is your download link:
FREE TEXT TOOLS – (download link here)
Thank You
Where am I able to change this email text?
2. I have 2 email address set for Notification Email so that I know when someone downloads something from the site but neither of them are getting an email. Yes, I checked the spam folder.
March 11, 2013 at 11:33 am #54332PeterMemberYou are using the free download form (ie, squeeze page form) shortcode and hence the email settings in eStore do not apply for this scenario.
Having said that you can modify the email text by following the instructions here:
The variables you will be interested in are:
ESTORE_FREE_DOWNLOAD_SUBJECT
ESTORE_FREE_DOWNLOAD_EMAIL_BODY
March 11, 2013 at 8:34 pm #54333proseojoshMemberOK thanks for that info.
What about the 2nd issue. Is there a way to get emailed when someone fills in the squeeze page form?
I need to be able to send them a key for the software so I need notified when they download this….
Note using the “keybank” where you enter a bunch of keys to be used will not work for me as my licensing doesn’t work that way.
March 11, 2013 at 10:19 pm #54334wpCommerceModeratorYou are trying to give products for free with serial key so I think you will have a better setup if you use option 1 from the following post given your scenario:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/selling-items-for-00-giving-product-for-free
The squeeze form is not really for what you are trying to do. If you use option 1 from the above link you will be able to customize a few things from eStore’s manual checkout settings.
March 12, 2013 at 3:04 am #54335proseojoshMemberHow can you say the squeeze form is not for what I am trying to do. When the link you provide specifically states, “Use a squeeze page form. This is how most people build their email list. The following URL explains how you can use a squeeze page form to give products for free:”
This is exactly what I’m trying to do. I’m trying to build my list by giving away free products.
I don’t want a user to have to go through a checkout process to get the free download (whether they pay anything or not) all I want is their name and email. Which, happens to be, the sole purpose of a squeeze page.
March 12, 2013 at 10:06 pm #54336wpCommerceModeratorSorry if I misunderstood you. I thought you are giving out a product with serial keys which needs a checkout so I said the above. You can build the list both ways but if the squeeze form is working out for you then keep using that (I my answer was more of a suggestion).
March 13, 2013 at 7:49 am #54337proseojoshMemberI want to use the squeeze form because it is perfect for what I am trying to do, but I would like to get email notification when someone fills out the form. How can I get an email notification when someone fills out the squeeze form?
March 13, 2013 at 10:05 pm #54338wpCommerceModeratorThe user automatically receives an email containing the download link after the form submission. Are you saying that you want the admin to receive a notification email as well?
