I installed the eMembers plugin on a wordpress site. I setup the site so it is required to login to view any content. When the user goes to site using Mozilla Firefox, it works fine. The issue is when they go to the site using Internet Explorer, it doesn’t successfully login.
What can I do to fix this issue? I need all the content to be hidden from non members. I want no way for a link to be copied and shared to non members.

Do you have any caching plugin installed?

User = demo
Password = demodemo
Login works. Click a link to load a book and login doesn’t work. This seems to only be in IE 8.
As for a cache plugin, I never installed any cache plugin.

When you say “login doesn’t work” what do you really mean? In your case when you log in it does not let you load any courses?
May 22, 2011 at 12:52 am #32781takMemberThat page has always worked fine. Now click “Home” then click any of the links under a post. A book should load in a popup.
Instead of that happening it shows the popup with an unclickable login page.
Sample of what I see below:
May 22, 2011 at 2:08 am #32782amin007ParticipantIt definitely works fine for me. After I log in I can go to your home page and load any of the modules. See screenshot below:

Can you please clear your Browser cache and cookies and stuff then check it? Also, please try checking the “Remember Me” checkbox when you log in and see if that makes any difference.
May 23, 2011 at 2:42 am #32783takMemberThe eMembers login is forcing us to login twice. The first login when you go to the site, then a second time under the login page located on the far right middle of the page.
May 23, 2011 at 11:17 pm #32784amin007ParticipantIt’s not making you login twice. The login works fine the first time. Just because the link located in the far right middle of the page says “login” DOES not mean that you are not logged in. That link was placed by you (this does not come from eMember) and the coding condition on it is wrong so even if the member is logged in, it is showing the “login” link regardless.
June 3, 2011 at 12:07 am #32785takMemberDo you know what measures I would need to take to fix that, or would I need to contact wordpress support about the issue?
June 3, 2011 at 5:40 am #32786amin007ParticipantIt is not an issue with WordPress either. When you write code and you make mistakes no one but yourself can fix that. If you are not a developer then it is best not to do coding yourself. Hiring someone to do your custom coding needs maybe a good option.
