Hi,
Could you help me understand this?
Use Strict PayPal Email Address Checking
If checked the script will check to make sure that the PayPal email address specified is the same as the account where the payment was deposited (Usage of PayPal Email Alias will fail too).
It seems to me that the payments are only deposited to me not other emails, so I’m not sure what this would mean and whether it’s important I check it or not.
Thank you.
This is a little hard to explain as it is a bit technical but sometimes scammers can try to send a valid IPN to the plugin where the payment actually did not go to the account of the seller. If you check that option eStore will do an additional verification to make sure the payment actually went to the store owner. This sounds like a good check to do all the time but sometimes you can have multiple email addresses associated with one PayPal account (if you are selling from multiple sites) which can cause the verification to fail if you do not use the primary email address for the transactions.
