I created a store for my client at Goddesslight.net and everything works but she is not getting emails when a product or service is sold. I checked the General Settings and everything is set up the way it is supposed to be and even checked her Paypal account and it seems to be set up ok. How can I fix it so she gets emails?
April 17, 2018 at 5:04 pm #77700wzpModeratorPlease enable the debug logs. Then perform a test purchase, and then post the results here. The logs should mention sending the emails.

If the log file says that plugin sent the email then you have an email issue on this server. The following post will be helpful in that case:
April 18, 2018 at 3:48 pm #77702thirdeyestudioMemberHi, I looked at the debug file and the only one that will show up is the payment debug file. The rest show up as blank pages when I click on them. I do not see anything about an email being sent. Help!

April 19, 2018 at 4:48 am #77703adminKeymasterLooks like the plugin is not receiving the PayPal IPN at all on this site. Usually that happens if the IPN feature is turned off in your PayPal account. Or if you have a security plugin thats blocking the IPN.
Lets first make sure the IPN feature is enabled in your account. The following video tutorial shows you how to enable IPN:

April 19, 2018 at 6:07 pm #77704thirdeyestudioMemberOk, so that worked and thank you. But, here is the email that gets sent to the buyer and also to the seller, with all the html tags in it. I clicked on the settings in the admin area for emails to send as a text and I also have checked off use the WordPress email systmem. Is there any way to have the notifications sent without the code?

April 20, 2018 at 5:23 am #77705adminKeymasterThat email tags shouldn’t be there. You likely have a plugin installed on this site that is adding the tags when the email is sent from the server. Keep the WP mail option enabled.
If you go to the “Text” view of the email body, do you see any of those tags? If you do, please remove them.
The following test can help you figure out if there is another plugin that is messing up the outgoing email’s formatting:

April 24, 2018 at 3:55 pm #77706thirdeyestudioMemberI turned off all the plugins that were not necessary and I am still getting the code sent when a sale is made. Any ideas on how to change this?

April 25, 2018 at 1:54 pm #77708thirdeyestudioMemberI did remove the tags but they are still there when I received the notifications. How do I remove these? I went to text view, removed them, saved. This was in email settings.
