My website seems to be using the basic website payments and not “Website Payments Standard”. I called PayPal to confirm that everything is set up correctly on their side and they said it was and that the problem is in how the add to cart button is coded.
Any suggestions on how I go about troubleshooting this? You can go to http://www.flowersandgifts.bc.ca/wp/christmas/christmas_cuts/christmas-cut-flowers/ and add any of the products to your cart, it will take you to a details page where you can click check out now and you will see that the only options my customers have are to login with PayPal or to create a PayPal account. I want them to be able to proceed without creating the PayPal account.
Thank you.
On my site, I get the “Pay with debit or credit card” option.
What version of eStore are you using? If your version is less than 4.6.x, please request and install the latest version:

Also, when you log into PayPal, does it show on the My Account -> Overview page, in the upper left corner: “Account Type: Business | Status: Verified”
Website Payments Standard is only available to (verified?) business accounts. The reason I asked is because your PayPal checkout page shows an e-mail address instead of a business name or other logo.
As far as I know… PayPal doesn’t allow credit card payments for personal PayPal account. You have to have a verified premier or business account. Try to confirm this first with PayPal if you can.
I am using version 4.6.1. My account indicates that it is “Account Type: Business|Status:Verified”. I have also checked and the PayPal Account Optional setting is ON.
Something on your PayPal account is not right. The same eStore plugin is deployed on a lot of sites including my own so I know the code is not the issue for this. I can see your email address when I checkout can you set that to your business name please?
