Hey Amin,
When using wp emember (ver 6.2.6) about 1 in 3 people who pay for a membership are not getting a username. Can this happen if they are not putting one in or is there possibly a problem?
Thanks,
Frank
A user cannot signup without choosing a username (the form validation will not allow it).
Now remember that the users don’t get a username or password when they make a payment. After the payment they get a unique link that lets them complete the registration by choosing a username and password. This documentation explains the registration flow:

So are you talking about a scenario when a member has paid but haven’t clicked on the registration completion link to complete the registration?
Ok, that’s got to be it. I wasn’t sure of the last steps, but it seems that odd users don’t seem to see the email they’ve received. I’ve sent out the few who have yet to signup and see what happens. Thanks and I’ll keep you posted.
Frank
In the “Admin Functions” there is an option where you can resend the email to complete the registration for the users who have paid but haven’t done the completion thing.
Thanks Amin, found it and definitely using it, lol.

ok, I’ve discovered a bit of the problem after about 400 members, lol. It seems that about half just don’t get the email. Either because of antispam measures or whatever. Is there a way that I can tie this into an stmp account that I log into and have it send the emails for me to increase deliverability?
Thanks!
Frank
Yes, you can simply add SMTP to your WordPress using a plugin which will help with the email deliverability.
