I’m trying to setup eStore with Wishlist and after some back and forth was able to finally have eStore talk with Paypal and wishlist and emails are being sent to confirm. However, the e-mail which asked the new member to complete registration looks like this:

April 1, 2010 at 7:00 am #19318IvyMemberHi Helmut, I have looked into this a little more it appears you are using a older version of Wishlist. Please update your Wishlist and it should take care of this problem.
I also sent you an email regarding the settings for Wishlist did you receive this email?

I am also getting ready to use WishList + eStore for a particular project and have a question re: email settings.
Since WishList sends emails to new members would it make sense to turn off the customer email notification for eStore?
If I leave it enabled the customer should receive emails from both eStore AND the actual membership site right?

January 6, 2011 at 1:08 am #19320IvyMemberHi, The email that is sent by the eStore is a purchase receipt and details the transaction. So it is really up to you if you want this email to be sent.
Yes if you enable it you will receive an email from the eStore, PayPal and Wishlist.
January 10, 2011 at 6:59 pm #19321graemeMemberI am having a very similar problem to Helmut. I am running Wishlist Member (version 2.5.786, most current version) as well as WordPress 3.0.4, Aweber and Paypal.
Right now, when I try to process a transaction, the transaction goes through in paypal, the user is subscribed to the Aweber mailing list, confirmation emails are sent to the user and my admin account, however when it comes to the email where the registration url is supposed to be I get:

Please Visit the following URL to complete your registration:
Error
Thank You”
Several months ago, this process was working fine but now that I am re-opening my membership site, it appears to be broken.
I checked out the ipn_handle_debug file and it had success for everything, however the subscription_handle_debug reads:
“SUCCESS :Member signup URL :Error
[01/10/2011 3:03 AM] – SUCCESS :Member signup email successfully sent using wp mail system”
I’ve gone through the Wishlist integration instructions several times and can’t spot what I’m doing wrong… please help!
January 11, 2011 at 4:08 am #19322amin007ParticipantThis usually means that some details of the integration is wrong or the version of the WishList that you are using has an issue with the 3rd party generic integration. I will send you an email to get site access so I can check the details.
