If you are setting up a membership site where you want to utilize the WordPress user role functionality then you need to enable the settings mentioned in the following documentation:
The user details shown in WordPress comments is part of WordPress user role capability domain.
and if I don’t want (or can’t) use WP roles, is there an option ?
When someone leaves a comment, WordPress will show the name that the user used at the time of leaving the comment. This is not happening for you?
I have tones of users, I can’t copy them in the WP database.
So basically, this is the only way, right ?
