I’ve got a several problems with my wp-estore installation; any help would be greatly appreciated.

    1) The purchaser is not receiving an email with the download link.

    2) The debug log is blank

    3) When I go to the return url after a successful paypal payment, the download link returns a “Requested File Could Not be Found”

    Here’s what I’ve checked:

I’ve got wp-estore setup on a host that has confirmed that they do allow php email, and do not block paypal ipn transmissons. I’ve got my digital downloads in subdirectories under the downloads folder of the e-store plugin. I’ve tried both full and relative urls for the product download with identical results (file not found). I’ve turned off all other plugins but estore and tried to purchase with the same result. I’ve checked the debug opton, but still no file generated. I’ve reinstalled the plugin with no improvements.

    Please advise

OMG. DUH. I figured out my problem. Because my site is under development, I had the site password protected. Cookies & browser settings were handling the login for me, so I’d totally forgotten that nothing from the outside could get in. Now all I have to do is get medical treatment for the giant knot that formed on my head from smacking it against the wall for 2 days trying to figure this out. Sheesh. I just hope somebody else who’s having the same problem will see this and save themselves similar injury.
