Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP eStore Forum › WP eStore Troubleshooting › No emails are being sent to affiliates OR customers of estore..
I may well be missing something obvious here but, i have been at it for 3 days with no joy.
So i hope that you can help,
I am using the latest versions of eStore and WP Affiliate platform, its a VERY simple wordpress build with only TWO products in the store.
I seem to have configured most things correctly, i.e. click on a product >go to paypay>pay>redirect to product page, and Affiliate sign ups seems to be working too
HOWEVER, neither the affiliate plugin, nor the estore plugin are sending emails to customers/affiliates?
when an item is purchased, or an affiliate signs up an admin email is sent with no problem
I have added the WP-Mail-SMTP pluggin, and this SEEMs to be having the same issue>?
I can send email to any domain email that I own e.g xxxxx@mysites.com OR xxxxx@myothersite.com but nothing to HOTMAIL or LIVE accounts?
any ideas what the problem is here?
Lets start with eStore. First I want to establish the fact that everything else is working except the email part. You can run a transaction with debug option enabled to verify this. This post will explain more:

Once we establish the fact that emails are not going out from your server then please read this post which will give you some directions as to where you should look into:
There is a simple test you can do to verify if WordPress email system is working on your site. Whenever someone leaves a comment on your site, WordPress sends an email to the site admin (you). So you can open your site in a different browser (pretending to be a visitor) then leave a comment and see if you get a notification of that comment. If you don’t then you need to fix the emailing problem with WordPress first otherwise no plugins will be able to send emails from your WP install.
