Tagged: empty thank you page
I have everything installed and setup. The sales are working fine and I am receiving payment notification from PayPal.
BUT I the seller and the buyer are NOT receiving email notification with links for downloads.
I have debug turned ON and I have gone through the logs and everything says “SUCCESS” even the part where it tells you the email address that the email notification is being sent to.
I’ve checked the JUNK and SPAM folders…not there in either case.
I’m really confused why this is NOT working.
Please let me know if you can help, or if you need more information from me.
This plug-in is the perfect solution…if I can just get the email notification thing to work!
PS – I even setup a Thank You page and that delivers a link no problem.

Hi, It sounds like something on your server maybe blocking the emails or there is a setting that is not set properly. Try checking that you have the following setting checked in the “eStore Settings”
“Send Emails to Buyer After Purchase”
and
Try checking the “Use WordPress Mailing System” if this is not checked.
If this is checked try unchecking this option.
Make sure to remember to save your setting after you make changes.
After you have made changes please run a test transaction and see how it goes.
Hi, I have the same problem, the email with the download link is not sent out.
I have tried with “Use WordPress Mailing System” checked and unchecked and it doesn’t work either way.
I have “Send Emails to Buyer After Purchase” checked.
The thank you page gives the download link, so there is no problem with that, except that the “sales count” did not grow on the manage products page.

Ok, I unchecked the MailChimp autoresponder integration, and now it works, the product is sent out.
