In Sandbox testing mode:
The transaction gets complete, payment made, buyer gets receipt BUT neither the thank you page has the download links nor the buyer’s email has it. The site shows the product sold but no links per se. I tried manually stamping the files and they were success.

I can already see that there are spaces in your PDF file name which is making it a non standard URL

January 24, 2011 at 9:21 am #28340wpCommerceModeratorLooks like everything is working fine. In sandbox mode the buyer is not supposed to get the email as it’s not a real email address. Try sending an email to that address from your normal email account and you will see what I mean.
January 24, 2011 at 10:08 am #28341pagulaMemberOkay, but what about download links on the Thank You page? I can’t use PayPal because it does not allow both (origin & destination accounts) to be from same country. {I had tried creating a $1 product and making payment).
Moreover why the Seller gets the download link?
January 24, 2011 at 12:28 pm #28342amin007ParticipantThe seller gets a copy of the buyer email (which includes the download link… it just gives you an idea of what the buyer purchased). The buyer email is just getting lost because the sandbox buyer email is not an actual email address where emails can be sent. The seller email is sent to the admin notification email that you configured in eStore which is a valid email address and hence the email is getting to your inbox! If you are new to sandbox testing just make a $0.01 product and request a family or friend to test it out.
The links on the thank you page can only be displayed for PayPal or Manual checkout option. Authorize.net or 2checkout does not have the necessary feature that eStore requires to dynamically verify the payment on page and display the links. My eStore plugin is properly configured.
Within Sandbox the thankyou page will not get the download links
(On Sandbox site, when I check the buyer email, it shows the payment receipt, and no download links and this is normal)
When I uncheck the Sandbox option, make real purchase, I get both: download links on thankyou page & buyer gets the download links.
IF ALL THIS IS TRUE, Can you do me a favor? I will create a $0.01 product, can you purchase & send relevant screenshots? I have no one abroad to do that.
January 25, 2011 at 3:49 am #28344amin007ParticipantWe can’t really go on a customer’s site and do transactions and capture screenshots. From what I have seen in the debug I can tell you that your store is working fine. Your customers will get the product after they purchase it. So it is safe for you to go live.
Remember worst case scenerio… even if a customer miss a download link after the purchase you can go to the “Admin Functions” menu and generate a link manually and give to the customer.
