I have both eStore and Affiliate installed. I have created banners that are linked to a Landing page. The landing page has a buy now button that takes customers to product page for purchasing.
Here’s my problem. The banners have the link to the landing page and the Aff ID. I pasted it in a new website. When clicked it takes the customer to the landing page. If wanting to purchase they click buynow and arrive at product page. The problem is that no clicks or commissions are being captured.
After reviewing the video again, I noticed that the video has the banner link going directly to product page. Could this be what is causing the clicks and commissions not to be captured?
I need to use the landing page. Can anyone explain or assist me with getting the affiliate platform working correctly please?
Cheers

Please check your eStore “Payment Gateway Settings” and make sure you have entered your “PDT Identity Token”.
Can you also please enable debug for eStore and WP Affiliate and share the contents of:
eStore_post_payment_debug.log
wp_affiliate_debug.log
June 1, 2012 at 10:59 pm #45777Surfsupjoe125MemberHi Peter,
WOW thx for the quick reply. First, I am not using Paypal so I am not using PDT. I have estore with authorize.net. I just changed the banner ad link to the product page VS the landing page and I can see a click. Now….. how do I get the click to show up using the landing page?
Any ideas?
Thanks
June 2, 2012 at 4:14 am #45778adminKeymasterPlease post a link to your landing page and the product page so we can check it.
For the sale tracking troubleshooting do what this post says:

June 2, 2012 at 4:57 am #45779Surfsupjoe125MemberLink to landing page: http://www.powerchutegolf.com/index.php?cID=300
Product Page: http://wpcart.powerchutesports.com/?page_id=28
I see that the problem is that the landing page is outside of WP. my problem is what to do to make the LP usable with th AFF platform. If I make the banner links target be the product page, all is well. The landing page causes the problem and he wants to use it.
Thanks and cheers
June 2, 2012 at 3:21 pm #45780Surfsupjoe125MemberHi Again,
First I want to thank you for your assistance. I see now that the only problem is that the Landing Page, see previous post, is not on the WP site. From what I am reading , I think I need to use HTTP POST and that’s where I’m lost.
I can’t abandon the landing page and my customer loves it. I don’t want to re-create it in WP if I can use this other feature.
Any suggestions or assistance with this one issue would be greatly appreciated
Cheers,
Joe
June 3, 2012 at 12:45 am #45781adminKeymasterThat’s not good. You can create a landing page that just looks like you current HTML page using WordPress. This is the correct way to do things when you want to use WordPress.
Please read this post and it will explain more:
