Hi! One of my customers just upgraded her version of WPeMember so we could take advantage of the new functionality that sends an outgoing email when she approves someone as a member. (Thanks for adding this!) The outgoing message seems to be available next to the member’s name under the Edit option and says:
Hi, Your account status has been updated.\n\nPlease log into your member profile to view the details.\n\nThank You
1 – This doesn’t seem to be “globally” editable under Members/Email Settings, but on a member-by-member basis. Is this true?
2 – What does the “\n” mean and can it be deleted? It’s visible both inside the website on the Admin side and also came through to our test customer.
Thanks!
You basically set the content of the email when you are updating the member profile. It is a one time email message feature so it doesn’t come from the settings. The “n” stands for a newline character. You can delete the content of the email box and simply add whatever content you want to send to your member.
