MemberOk, so in following the “WP eStore and NextGen Gallery integration” article, I noticed that whenever I activate the NextGen Gallery plugin, the WP eStore links disappear in my admin dashboard. However, when the plugin is inactive, the links are fine. I tried messing with the few other plugins I have to see if they were affecting it – no dice. It may be my theme. See images below for examples. Any ideas how I could fix this? I can still access the WP eStore plugin pages via direct link, it’s just a huge inconvenience.
Thanks in advance!

ModeratorWhat theme are you using? Have you tried using the default WordPress theme, just to see what happens?

MemberThe theme is called “Versatile 1.6 by system32.” As for the default template, when I activate it the WP eStore links DO appear. So, must be a theme issue? Not sure where to go from here.

ModeratorFirst, please read the following article…

After a cursory look at the specifications for the Versatile theme, I believe there is a conflict between eStore and the theme’s built-in support for “pricing boxes.” There may also be conflicts between the NextGen plugin and the theme’s built-in “Gallery” support.
Because the default WordPress theme seems to work, I believe the most appropriate advice would be for you to contact the developer; using his support forum…

ParticipantTo me it looks like the theme is adding a plugin menu on the admin sidebar but it is breaking the flow. So the admin menu hooks are getting broken. This document explains how to add admin menus:
