Someone sent me this after trying to sign up for a free membership:
attempted to join twice today with no success. Just kept getting sent back to the point of entering the CAPTCHA code words with no insight into why I was unsucessful.
I cannot see anything wrong on my end, any ideas?

July 21, 2012 at 10:39 pm #47605adminKeymasterHave you tested a signup yourself?
July 23, 2012 at 7:46 am #47606DennisMemberAfter I signed up, clicked the confirm link in that email, on registration page my email looks like this:
<script>MailGuard(‘myemail’,’gmail.com’)</script>
and I cannot edit this form to change my email.
I didn’t got the same issue as the one singing up for the free account.
July 23, 2012 at 11:08 pm #47607adminKeymasterOkay that proves that the user who complained wasn’t entering the captcha code correctly which is why he wasn’t allowed to register.
Now, regarding your other response… it looks like a JavaScript issue on the page. Please post the unique registration link that you received in your email so I can go to that page and check it.

July 25, 2012 at 8:31 am #47610DennisMemberI found the issue, WP Email Guard http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-email-guard/ was the reason, it was protecting my email just as it is designed to do!
Any fix or similar plugin you can recommend to protect the emails?
