I see that Stripe has update with what appears to be a new “popup checkout” option that has quite a number of features for colleting the buyers info (including getting billing and shipping information).
It looks very nice…much better than the current coded payment form in the Gateway Bundle.
Are there any plans to support this…doesn’t appear to be to difficult?
You mean the very simple stripe integration? Like the one shown in this stripe plugin?

Thats their very basic integration (nothing new about it). In the payment gateway bundle we integrate in a way that will allow us to support all the features offered in eStore. You can’t get all the eStore features when you use that very basic integration.
You can just use the above mentioned free plugin if you want a basic simple stripe checkout.
