We’ve been using eMember for ultimatefishfinder.com and love it. But ownership has changed and need to change the paypal account where payment for subscriptions is sent. Is there a way to change the paypal account without inconveniencing all the members with having to re-register?
You should be able to change your PayPal account in the “WP eStore Settings -> Payment Gateway Settings -> PayPal Settings” page.
The new PayPal account will take effect for new signups but your existing subscribers will be able to continue their payments to your old account until they unsubscribe or their subscription expires. Then if they decide to subscribe again via your online store, they will use your new account.
PayPal doesn’t offer any option to transfer existing subscription payments to go to a different PayPal account.
Thank you!

Make sure the new owner understands that payments for existing subscripbers will continue being paid to the old owner’s PayPal account.
