Hi there, Since 2014 we have in Germany a new right of withdrawal. Since 2014 the buyer has also a right of withdrawal when he buys digital Products. For the seller it is possible to exclude this right when he make an accept button like the “terms of condition”. In the future i think, this will be a European right.
In your plugin i do not find a possibility to make this. How can i realize this in WP Photo Seller?
best wishes
Paul
January 15, 2017 at 3:16 pm #74939wzpModeratorAre you referring to the “right to cancel” a sales contract, within a certain period of time? Most jurisdictions in the world have some form of this. However, the period of time and specific details vary from one jurisdiction to another.
From an international legal perspective; the Generally Accepted Practice (GAP) is to use the rules that apply in (your) the seller’s jurisdiction. Just be sure to include in your T&C something like: …the terms of this sale are governed by the laws of __________. Requests for regunds and/or cancellations should be submitted via our <contact form link>.
Because the law is different for each jurisdiction, for now; such cancellation processes are best handled manually. Both PayPal and the plugin’s Admin functions provide for this.

Yes, there is a period of 14 days for the right of revocation. Of course, a paragraph on the right of revocation also belongs to T & C.
But that I am not my problem.
The problem is that the buyer can contradict and I have to repay his money without the posibility to control the digital data were also really deleted. So the buyer legally gets my pictures without paying a cent for it and that, I will not!
The only way to prevent this is the waiver of the buyer’s right of withdrawal.
This must be confirmed by the buyer, preferably by a checkbox and it must not be linked to the T & C. This is not allowed according to the latest European law.
Do you have an idea how I can realize this in WP Photo Seller?
January 16, 2017 at 6:12 pm #74941wzpModeratorAre you wanting to make the waiver optional,or mandatory? If mandatory, the checkout page could be rigged to not allow checkout, without the waiver.
January 17, 2017 at 9:47 am #74942plindenMemberHi wzp,
the declaration must be mandatory. Only if the buyer agrees to the waiver he can go to checkout. The same as the T & C.
So I need two checkboxes one for the T & C and one for the waiver of the revocation.
Best wishes

January 18, 2017 at 2:52 am #74943adminKeymasterSo you just need another checkbox in the cart that says something like “I agree to WAIVE the right of withdrawal” and they have to check it before they can do the checkout?
January 18, 2017 at 3:41 pm #74944plindenMemberYes exactly,
The text should also have a link to a page with explanations, as like with the T & C.
While we’re at it, is it possible to display the amount of the tax in the shopping cart?
