    Hello. I am loving using WP Affiliate, but an odd thing has started happening.

    When I receive an e-mail notifying me of a new affiliate, it has the correct subject line: “New affiliate sign-up notification” but the incorrect body text.

    The text it is using is the same text that the affiliate receives in their “welcome” e-mail. I have designated that text under the “e-mail settings” tab as:

    Thank you for registering with us. Here are your login details…

    Affiliate ID: {user_name}

    Email: {email}

    Passwd: {password}

    You can Log into the system at the following URL:

    {login_url}

    Please log into your account to get banners and view your real-time statistics.

    Thank You

    Administrator

    THIS IS AN AUTOMATED RESPONSE.

    ***DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL****

    It DOES “xxxx” out the affiliate’s password, so I don’t have access to that information, thankfully, but I would like to change the body text for the e-mail I receive.

    Also, I have verified that new affiliates are still receiving their welcome e-mail correctly, so that is not a concern.

    Any idea how I can change the e-mail text for the notification e-mail sent to the admin?

    Thank you!

    Hi, It is the intended behavior to not have a configurable email for the admin notification. For the admin notification email, it simply sends the email that was sent to the affiliate. The reason is that admins are mainly interested in knowing that an affiliate has signed up. That emails seems to do the job fine. This way we don’t need to add code to handle another different email configuration settings in the plugin. We try not to add feature/code to the plugin that doesn’t have really good usage or benefit. This post will explain why:
