I have a new affiliate who made a lot of sales, but isn’t getting any commission. Her affiliate id is associated with the sale, but there is no commission awarded. Commission tracking for all other affiliates on the site is working correctly. Not sure what is wrong with this one user’s affiliate profile.
I checked my debug and saw this message, but don’t know what I need to do to fix the problem. I’ve never had this problem before, but she’s the only one that had sales yesterday.

November 8, 2013 at 1:35 am #58765wpCommerceModeratorHi, which integration method did you follow?
November 11, 2013 at 4:54 am #58766heatherhMemberI use it with estore and through paypal.
I’ve never had a problem with an affiliate until this one. Although I haven’t had any other affiliate sales in the last couple of days.
November 11, 2013 at 10:14 pm #58767adminKeymasterPlease enable debug in eStore and then do a test affiliate sale. This post will explain how to do that:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/how-and-when-to-enable-debug-and-what-does-it-do
Share the URL of your site after you have done the test and I will be able to check your debug data and verify if the affiliate tracking is working correctly or not.
November 11, 2013 at 10:53 pm #58768heatherhMemberI have already enabled the debug. I looked at a past one that failed and the only difference I could see was this where it says that there is no commission percentage. I looked at my last affiliate sale and it showed up correctly there with the 25%. My problem is that when I go into this new affiliate’s profile, it shows that everything is filled out correctly.
Here is the url for my website: [http://ultimatebrainbreaks.com]

November 12, 2013 at 1:31 am #58769adminKeymasterAs far as I can see the affiliate commission tracking system is working correctly. So the issue would be specific to this particular affiliate’s profile or the customer didn’t actually click on that affiliates link in the first place.
1) Have you done a test transaction yourself by following *this affiliates* referral?
2) What is the Affiliate ID of this affiliate (the one that doesn’t work)?
3) When you edit this affiliates profile, and go to the “Commission Level” field… there is a value there right? What is that value you see there?
November 12, 2013 at 8:12 pm #58770heatherhMember1) I just did a test transaction and the affiliate gets credit for the sale, but again, no commission is awarded.
2) I’d rather not put it out here on a public forum since it is her name.
3) The value listed on her affiliate profile is 25% just like all of the other affiliates.
November 13, 2013 at 12:34 am #58771adminKeymasterPlease verify for me that the value is “25” NOT “25%”. The % character is not required there.
If the above wasn’t an issue then I will jump on your site and take a look. Please fill in our contact form to get in touch:
November 13, 2013 at 9:39 pm #58772heatherhMemberYes. It is only 25. I also made an affiliate account for myself and tested an order out and it worked just fine. I’ll fill out the contact form. THanks.
November 14, 2013 at 12:33 am #58773adminKeymasterokay… just out of curiosity… what happens if you delete this affiliate’s profile then create a new one with that same affiliate ID?
November 15, 2013 at 2:44 am #58774heatherhMemberIf I did this, would all of the cookies on the link she shared still work? She sent a ton of traffic my way and I don’t want to hurt future orders that she should get credit for. If she uses the same affiliate code would they still work? If so, I’ll have her do that.
November 15, 2013 at 3:16 am #58775adminKeymasterYou are keeping the affiliate ID the same. So all the past stuff will remain intact. In summary it won’t affect anything.
