Need to log in twice (eMember and Affiliate)

Hi,

We have purchased the Member, Store and Affiliate plugins (plus the infinity Theme) and mostly the building of the site is coming along well. But I am stuck on one thnig (I am sure there will be others but this is the one for now)

We have the site set up so that when a member joins they are automatically added as an affiliate. That works – they are appearing in the database correctly.

However, if they log in as a member, then click to go to Affiliates area, they need to log in again. Is there a way to avoid this need for double logging in?

Hi Kevin, I haven’t added a feature which can automatically log in the member to the affiliate plugin too. This feature is on my to do list and will be added in a few days.

Thank you for your last response, sounds good. Came across another question here.

We have made 4 different membership levels. We only see 1 option on the affiliate commission. Is it possible to make more options here? e.g. Free 20%, Gold 30 % ? If this is possible how do we do this?

The affiliate plugin and eMember are completely different products so it’s not wise to tie membership level specific stuff to affiliate plugin. This makes the plugins interdependent. You can manually change the commission level of individual affiliates though.

Maybe adding an option to group affiliates might be the answer. I will have to see what complications it has.

I have added the following option in eMember which will automatically log the member to his/her affiliate account too:
