I use Gravity forms and provide a service, so I want to capture my information from the contact form. I followed the described steps on here to connect the two, but it’s still not collecting the lead data. Does the contact form have to be on the landing page or can it be located where ever?
Thank you in advance for the help.
February 15, 2013 at 8:19 pm #53881jstrauss75MemberJust a quick update. I got it to work except the email address is being displayed to the affiliate rather than the transaction id. Also, the name contained in the lead isn’t appearing in my lead interface. Everything else is though. Please advise. Thank you.
February 16, 2013 at 5:31 pm #53882jstrauss75MemberUpdate: I’m still having the same troubles that I detailed in the second post. I have gathered that I need to change some code to match up the fields, but I need instructions on how to do so. Thank you.
February 16, 2013 at 10:29 pm #53883adminKeymasterWhich of the following model are you using?
a) Are you just capturing lead from the contact form submission? (lead capture)
b) You are giving out commission for each lead captured (pay per lead)
More details on it here:

If you are just capturing lead, then note that it is not a transaction when someone just comes to your contact form and fills in the form. It is simply a lead that the plugin captures so you (the admin) can sell to them later. For this only the name and email address of the lead is captured so you can communicate with them. If you have enabled the “Show leads/conversions data to affiliates” option then the name and email address of the lead is also shown to your affiliates. Are you expecting to see a transaction ID there for some reason? When you (the admin) make a sale to the user and award the commission, the commission amount goes under the “sales” menu.
February 24, 2013 at 6:38 am #53884jstrauss75MemberI’m using option A. The problem I’m experiencing is when I select “show transaction id” in the “Show Buyer Details to Affiliates in the Affiliate Area:” area it displays the leads email address to the referrer instead of the transaction id.
I assumed transaction id did this, but I see your point requiring a sale.
So in the affiliate login area, specifically the /affiliates/leads.php page the “User Details” currently shows the leads email address. Is there a way to change this to lead id? I want to maintain the privacy of the consumer.
And for my other problem, in my “manage leads area” the leads “name” field is blank even though it was collected by the form. How do I fix this? Thank you!
