Hello there,
I am using Paypal Sandbox for testing purposes. Everything seems to work okay, but how can I make myself get a test email, just as if the buyer would get it including the download link.
Right now, under sand box, I am able to see the “Paypal” email as the client would get it, but I am not getting the actual download link email under the “test” mode. I am sure I am missing a step –
Can someone give me a hand on this?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Henry
The buyer email address of PayPal Sandbox is not an actual email address. It’s an auto-generated email address of PayPal Sandbox to simulate the transaction. That’s why you are not receiving the email with the download link.
The best way to know what is going on inside is to do the simulation with the debug enabled from the eStore settings. The following post will help you with the debugging –
After the transaction check the ipn_handle_debug.log
and eStore_post_payment_debug.log
files. If everything looks good then you are ready to go to the live mode.
I always prefer to do a $0.01 transaction in real mode than Sandbox testing. That way I know if everything will work fine.
Thanks, I will give that a try….!
