I was wondering if anyone can answer a question for me. Is the affiliate calculations based on the sale price or what was actually recieved from paypal, price less paypal fee’s?

I am attempting to create a business and would like to offer affiliates 100% commission on sales. Is there anyway to do this, without me going in the hole paying for the paypal fee’s.

I guess I just need to figure out what % I would need to add to the affiliate backend for payout so that paypal fee’s are covered and then they receive whats left of the 100%.

    Can anyone help??

The affiliate calculation is based on sale price. This is a standard practice. Affiliates don’t care about what other cost there is for running the business.

    first question:

Do affiliates need regular or business paypal subscription?

    second question:

when affiliates sign up, what is the meaning of the field under “paypal email address”?

my language is Hebrew so the translation is something like: “identifying number”…

    thanks alot

There is no special requirement for the PayPal account. Any PayPal account will do. The PayPal account is for them to receive their affiliate payout (given you want to pay them via PayPal). You can also choose to pay via cheque or bank transfer. In that case, they don’t need to have a PayPal account at all.
