Need Customer Address For Digital Products

Hi There,

Have bought the WPeStore and Affiliate programs and am very impressed so far. One issue we’ve run into was brought to my attention by my bookkeeper.

1. I am located in Canada, selling digital goods.

2. Only Canadian buyers need to be charged tax and the amount varies by province. (how can I set this variable?)

3. I need the shipping address on digital products to verify they are a non-canadian sale for tax purposes. Right now a digital sale (non-recurring) just sends me their name, email and phone. My bookkeeper needs to know where the sale originated.

WP eStore only offers “tax by provinces” option via PayPal regional tax feature. This article will explain how you can set this up:

After you make a sale the PayPal receipt will contain the location of the buyer. You can also add the following email tag in your “Email Body” field of eStore and eStore will send you the address of the buyer:
