Tagged: general settings, Random Code
I’m setting up WP eStore and am told in the “Startup Guide for Dummies” that I should change the “Random Code” in the General Settings. However, there’s already a random string of numbers, letters, and symbols in the “Random Code” field. Is this something I must change, and if I do, will I need to record this code somewhere for future reference?
The random code, normally does not need to be changed, once it is set by the plugin. If your site was compromised in the past then you can change it otherwise you don’t have to touch it.
