Hi,

I am attempting to use the Auto Upgrade option but, in my testing, the upgrade process is not working.

I created 3 Membership levels and assigned them to standard WP roles. Each role is set for different plugins (Amelia, WooCommerce, and Newsletter). There is no content protection, and I am trying to get new registrations to have these roles applied at signup so they can access each section. I have the Auto Upgrade time set to zero. There is no paywall as, the site is used for members to purchase time slots. Members require manual approval prior to gaining full access.

For now I am using a User Role Editor plugin until this gets sorted out. Any suggestions?

Just to add, my thought process was that the auto upgrade would be applied once the users account was manually verified and turned to active.

Hi, You may be trying to use the auto upgrade feature in a way that it was not intended to be used. This is not for using with roles. Also, 0 is not a valid value for the The auto upgrade feature. Please review the following documentation to see how it works:

Auto upgrade works based on the time duration that you set in the configuration. This time duration is specified by the admin in the “Auto Upgrade” tab under the “Members” menu.
