Hi
Just started using eStore and really pleased with it. One question: we will be offering periodical payments for attending an upcoming reunion – i.e. 420/month for a year. What we would like to be able to do is if the member is going to attend with their partner, then they need to pay two subscriptions. Can we get the cart to accept two payments and have Paypal take out a percentage of the total price – i.e. If single subscription is $100.00, then two would of course be $200.00, and the periodical payment would be say 410.00 by 2 + $20.00.
If the cart/Paypal could do that calculation, we would then only need to have one subscription button, which could then be ádjusted’ by the cart/Paypal to reflect the total number of subscriptions required by any member/family.
Is this sort of calculation possible, or would it be simpler just to offer two separate packages – one for singles, and one for doubles?
Cheers
Noel
Hi, The variation control feature should come in handy for what you are trying to do:
My recommendation would be to use two eStore subscription products for these two different packages. It will make things simpler (you can create as many eStore products as you want).
Yes – the variation control will enable me to have several different options, but will this enable different Paypal periodical payments for each variation?
i.e. variation 1 – total price $100.00 – by 10 payments of $10.00.
variation 2 – total price $200.00 – by 10 payments of $20.00
?

Yes, the variation can do that. The variation price will simply modify the recurring price amount. So if you have a recurring price amount of 0 and then have variation 1 with $10 and variation 2 with $20 then when a user choose variation 2 he will be paying $20 per month for however month you specify in the subscription configuration. But again creating to eStore products is simpler.
Thanks
I will go the way of multi entries.
Cheers
