So I have two sites, selling two separate ecourses:

    SiteA.com

    SiteB.com

I use my one paypal account to collect payments from both.

SiteA.com already has WP Affiliate Platform installed and configured. SiteA.com uses a simple Paypal button, so I followed the direct integration as shown here: https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/plain-paypal-button-and-affiliate-plugin-integration-168

Now I’m looking to get SiteB.com set up with affiliates too.

I’m using LearnDash as my ecourse delivery system.

I was looking at setting it up via the link above again, but since I only have the one paypal account, the return URL is already used for SiteA.com/thankyoupage

Is it simply impossible to set up the affiliate plugin in this case?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

You just need to override the return URL from your PayPal button for SiteB.com. So if you specify a return URL in the PayPal button that you make for SiteB.com. The PDT will return to that URL when that button is used to make the payment.

Hey, thanks for the quick answer!

So I put the return URL in the “Take customers to this URL when they finish checkout” field on Step 3 of Customize advanced features (optional) INSTEAD of the Web Preferences under My Profile > My Selling Tools?

I have my return URL under Web Preferences list the SiteA.com thank you page.

Does the individual button’s “Take customers to this URL when they finish checkout” count as the return URL too? Or did I set it up on SiteA.com incorrectly?

Sorry, I don’t know enough about this kind of stuff to know what matters and what doesn’t!

    Thanks for your help!
