Hi, we want to sell two different online contents on our website:
– News
– Online Magazine
we need to create this levels:
– demo (free access to all contents for 15 days)
– news
– magazine
we’ve checked on settings “enable secondary memberships” and given to an user the levels:
– magazine (primary)
– demo
– news
Problems:
– he can see the magazine, but not the news.
– For us (administrators), the news and demo level aren’t visible on members summary list or with a level filter, but only when we enter in his profile
I’ve read tutorial and forum but I have difficulties to really understand the difference between primary and secondary levels. In fact we don’t want a user passes to one level to another when the first expires, because our levels are indipendent. Where do we make errors?
Thank you very much
The user should be able to see the content from all the membership levels that is applied to his profile.
What duration value do you have for the “News” level?
When this member goes to a page protected for the “News” level, what message does he get from the plugin?
Edit this member’s record then check the “News” level’s start date value. What date value do you have there?
