Hi there,
Is there anyway to add more than one photo per product? I’m selling website themes and would like to display more than one pic for each product if possible.
Thanks!

Option 1) Use the “Additional Product Images” field to specify all the images of the product in question. Then use a product display template to show the item (your visitors will be able to see all the images by clicking on the thumbnail image and then clicking next):

Option 2) You can create a page with all the photos, videos, demos on it and just add the ‘Add to Cart’ button on the page. More explanation here:
Option 3) You can also add a link to a image that will take them to another page with all the information and an ‘Add to Cart’ or ‘Buy Now Button”.

May 12, 2010 at 11:28 am #16861SMazMemberI’ve purchased the plugin and sell themes as well. Having to manually create a separate WP page/post for each product is a bit cumbersome. That being said, however, for the price of this plugin v. functionality it is an OUTSTANDING value.
A little “trick” I’ve used to help the process is to take advantage of a feature of NextGEN where it will automatically display related photos at the bottom of a post or page based on tags.
In my case, I add a tag to each post with my product SKU (not the eStore generated ID). Then, in NextGEN I tag all the screenshots of that template/theme with the product SKU. NextGEN takes care of the rest.
It would be nice if, during the setup of each product we could supply a NextGEN tag and when you click on the image of a product displayed using “fancy” – then up would pop a slideshow of all the images tagged with that code. I’D GLADLY PAY EXTRA FOR SUCH A FEATURE!
