    Hello

I have a DVD to offer for download via the eStore. The DVD has been created in 4 separate files (.mov), as they are each about 1Gb, and uploaded to AWS S3. How do I integrate this as one single purchase into the website please?

The current page is shown below selling the product via PayPal and postage.

    Thanks,

    Francis

The easiest way would be to create a zip file containing all of your separate DVD parts and then offer the single zip file as the downloadable product.

Advisory note: Use of a single 4 Gb zip file is only recommended when using the eStore Amazon S3 download integration feature. Use of the host based eStore download methods is not advised.

Our internet connection kept timing out trying to upload a 4+GB file so our developer created 4 .mov files instead; so is there no other way of enabling the download of multiple files? Some kind of workaround…!?

Are you trying to upload to AWS or your own server where you are hosting WP?

As per wzp’s comment – when offering large files for download you should try to use AWS.

Here is my recommendation for the upload. It assumes that you are trying to upload the original 4 Gb .MOV file to an Amazon S3 bucket:

First, try to stream a lengthy video from Hulu or Netflix. If you can do that, without any hiccups, it’s a good indicator that uploading to your S3 bucket will experience no issues.
