Hi,
everything working fine. Thanks for that. I did read documentation and watch videos.
But right now I have huge problem. Probably I do not understand how it works.
I have one digital product, and 2 files for it. When I add new product I have to define under “Digital Product Variation” that I have 2 files. But, when I testing to buy, in the email I got, no links to the file I did choose.
Then, what should I do with “Digital Product URL”? Do I have to type the link to the file or files?
Please explain. Thanks!!!
Regards,
Steve

Also, have you tried it for a product with only one file?

Sorry that I took your time. I find what I did wrong. Everything working great!
Thanks!

In my gallery I only have the hi res visible and the low res I have excluded because there is no need to have duplicate photos in the gallery. Again, person would click on the photo they want to purchase and after paying the download link in the email would either be a .zip file or 2 separate files? I would be doing this for 100’s of different photos.

Simply create a .zip file with both the high and low resolution images and specify it in the
Digital Product URL
field when you configure a product. That way when a user purchases a photo they will receive the .zip file.July 19, 2013 at 11:56 pm #24705StarCircleAcademyMemberIt is also possible to create a “bundle” containing both files. Documentation here:
It works like this:
Create Product 1 which is the small file.
Create Product 2 which is the large file
Create Product 3 which is the bundle containing the small and large file (just put “1,2” in the download link).
It’s work, of course, but it does let you separately price and sell them. You could, for example, only sell 1 and 3 if you wanted where “3” contains both the large and small files.
Don’t underestimate the power of upselling, either. For example if you priced the small file at $5, the large file at $20 and offered the package of both at $21.50 you’d be surprised how many people will opt for that extra $1.50! It’s the same thing the movie theatres do: price the small popcorn at $5, the medium at $9 and the large at $11. The medium price makes the large price look attractive.
