Our monthly members suddenly started getting messages that their monthly subscriptions were expiring and asking them to renew.
When we checked the Recurring Billing section of eStore, we found a 0 in the Recurring Billing Count and since it says: This is the number of payments which will occur at the regular rate. Leave this field empty if you want the payment to continue to recur at the regular rate until the subscription is canceled. Enter -1 if you want to configure a once off payment. – we deleted the 0 to make it blank but every time we save it the 0 comes back. How can we make it blank? Thanks.
Zero (0) in the “Recurring Billing Count” field counts as empty too so it will work fine. One of the easiest way you can verify if the subscription product will charge what you expect it to charge is to place an eStore subscription button on a test page then click on the button which will bring you to the PayPal checkout page and PayPal will tell you exactly what PayPal is going to charge (the “Terms” field will explain it). For example: it will say something like the following for a subscription that will continue to recur.
$39.97 USD for each 30 days
Thank you
