Hello
I read the tutorial on drip feed. My question is this:
Let’s say I have a monthly subscription, but I sell the unit as a 6 month lesson package, new lesson each month, $15 a month thru PayPal. Call it UNIT 1.
Once people are done with that (hopefully) they want more. Can I then sell UNIT 2, 6 month drip lesson, same model but different content? If so (it makes sense) but how does the person differentiate between the UNIT 1 and UNIT 2 so they don’t get the same package of lessons? I understand hat each month is a different membership level. I don’t want them to go back to the first membership level.
The other question I have is: Let’s say they are on month 3, can they still access the lessons from month 1 and 2? Thanks
Hi,
“how does the person differentiate between the UNIT 1 and UNIT 2”
A: Since each month is a different membership level the level representing the current month/lesson will be the “primary” membership level.
Thus your customers will have access to the new content which is protected by the levels in UNIT 2. For instance you can set the “Redirect After Login” field for each level so that when your customer logs in they will be automatically directed to the relevant lesson.
“Let’s say they are on month 3, can they still access the lessons from month 1 and 2?”
A: If you have not configured the membership levels for months 1 and 2 to expire, then yes your customers will still have access to those lessons.
